Supplement Charter from Elizabeth the Second to the Royal Asiatic Society of Great Britain and Ireland, to remove some of the wording from the original Charter of 1824. The Charter measures 46cm by 32 cm and the seal has a diameter of 16cm. The charter is housed within a presentation box.

Correspondence concerned with Prince Charles as Vice-Patron of the Royal Asiatic Society. These are:

• Draft letter from the Royal Asiatic Society to Prince Charles, Prince of Wales, to ask whether he would consent to become Vice Patron of the Society. Typed letter with handwritten corrections and annotations, undated.
• Letter from Squadron-Leader David Checketts, Buckingham Palace, to B.W. Robinson, Royal Asiatic Society, to state that Prince Charles has agreed to become Vice Patron thus making an exception to his decision to refuse such invitations during his navel career.
