- Draft letter from the Royal Asiatic Society to Prince Charles, Prince of Wales, to ask whether he would consent to become Vice Patron of the Society. Typed letter with handwritten corrections and annotations, undated.
- Letter from Squadron-Leader David Checketts, Buckingham Palace, to B.W. Robinson, Royal Asiatic Society, to state that Prince Charles has agreed to become Vice Patron thus making an exception to his decision to refuse such invitations during his navel career.
