"Hodgson's Himalayan Ethnography in 3 fascicles - presented to the Library of the Royal Asiatic Society by the author." "Comparative Vocabulary of the Languages of the broken Tribes of Népal". The book covers many of the dialects of the region. The book begins with a letter from Hodgson explaining that he is sending four series of Vocabularies of Himalayan tongues divided into 2 parts. This copy is annotated by Hodgson and also contains a loose leaf of manuscript. The book is 270 pages and is dated 4 October, 1857. Printed bound book with handwritten annotations.
