• Certificate for Doctor of Philosophy from University of Tubingen, 1933
• Certificate on becoming Honorary Doctor of Law of St. Andrews University, 1939
• Certificate of Membership of American Philosophical Society, 1939

Seating Plan for Sir Thomas Smith's Feast, Saturday 6 December 1969. John Hansman was seated on the top table. On reverse of the plan are some handwritten notes: "Soma Divine, Mushroom of Immortality, Gordon Wasson (Harvard Univ.) Botan. mus., amanita muscaria"

Letter from W.L. Raynes & E.G. Raynes, Clerks to the Trust, to C.A. Storey, to inform of a forthcoming Trustees' Meeting on 22 May 1937. Business included the financial position of the Trust and consideration of publications.

"Minutes of the Annual Meeting of the Trustees held at 90/ 92 Regent Street, Cambridge on Saturday 28th May 1938." Matters discussed included the financial position of the Trust; increase in the Clerks' annual salary; publications to be authorised and currently being printed including the History of Ghazan Khan, Mathnawi Volume 8, and the Dustur-i Safawiya.

"E.J.W. Gibb Memorial Trust. Report of the Clerks on the Financial Position of the Trust as of December 31st. 1945." An account of the financial dealings during the War and of the current financial situation as Meetings of the Trustees have not occurred since 1940. Signed by Clerks and dated 7 January 1946.

Letter from W.L. Raynes & E.G. Raynes, Clerks to the Trust, to C.A. Storey to inform of a forthcoming Trustees' Meeting on 12 January 1946. Business included the appointment of a new Chairman following the death of Professor Nicholson; to confirm and discuss the appointment of new Trustees; the financial position with Report to follow (see GMT/1/2/18); and publications.

Letter from W.L. Raynes, Clerk to the Trust, to C.A. Storey to ask him to consider the request of the Chairman that Dr A.J. Arberry be elected as an additional trustee due to the absence of Dr Levy from the Country and following the death of Sir Denison Ross. (See also GMT/3/2/2). He also asks for Storey to agree to the cost of printing and binding of Professor's Minorsky's "Safavid Administration".
