• 21 April - 9 June 1998 - 'Archaeology and the nation in Asia: Issues of Power and Identity' held with the Institute of Archaeology, University of London.

• 20 April 1994: F. Nigel Hepper and Professor Ib Friis introduce a film about the Niebuhr Expedition to Egypt and the Yemen 1761-1767 with an account of the plants collected by Forsskal.
