  • 22 April - 10 June 1997 - 'Empire and Identity: Ruler and Realm in Early Asia', held at the Wellcome Institute Auditorium.
  • 21 April - 9 June 1998 - 'Archaeology and the nation in Asia: Issues of Power and Identity' held with the Institute of Archaeology, University of London.
