Correspondence concerning the bequest of Professor Charles Ambrose Storey to the Royal Asiatic Society and copies of his will. Storey died on 24 April 1967 and bequeathed his specific legacies of books and manuscripts and the residue of his estate. The material includes:

• Initial correspondence to Storey from his solicitors concerning drafts of his will dating from 1937-1950.
• Wills dated 1935, 1940, 1941, 1954, and a notebook containing a handwritten draft of the will.
• Executorship Statement dated 21 May 1968.
• Correspondence, mostly dating from 1967 and 1968, concerning the sorting of the will, and the sale of Storey's library and other items.

Correspondence concerning the donations of Meredith-Owens book royalties from his book, 'Islamic Painting and the Arts of the Book', dated 18 September 1976 - 12 October 1976.

Correspondence concerning the legacy given to the Royal Asiatic Society from the estate of Louise Hawley Stone, dated 17 June 1997 - 7 February 1998.

• 'Royal Asiatic Society Accounts and Accounting Procedures June 2000' giving a brief account of each of the function in the Society's ledger, 5 pieces, computer printed.

• Correspondence concerning the Society's use of the Charities Aid Foundation from 2010-2012, 20 pieces, typed and computer printed.

Correspondence with the Inland Revenue Valuation Office, (St. Marylebone Area), concerning the Exemption from Rating for Scientific and Literary Societies as defined by the Scientific Societies Act, 1945, and how this ruling affects the rates paid by the Royal Asiatic Society, 4 items, dated 12 February 1952 - 17 September 1952.

Deeds of covenant and correspondence regarding corporate subscription for the Royal Asiatic Society, 1979-1994.
