Following the death of Denis Sinor on 12 January 2011 a further £10000 was bequeathed to fund the Denis Sinor Medal. This material concerns the administration of the legacy:

  • Letter from Lawrence Graham LLP to the Royal Asiatic Society to inform that his firm LG legal are acting in the UK estate of Denis Sinor and that a pecuniary legacy of £10000 is bequeathed to the Society. Typed, 1 piece, dated 29 March 2012.
  • Notice of Unsupervised Administration from the State of Indiana to the Royal Asiatic Society to inform that the Old National Trust Company are appointed as Executor of the Estate of Denis Sinor. Three copies, 9 pieces, signed Linda Robbins, Clerk of the Circuit Court of Monroe County, dated 25 January 2011.
  • Letter from Dr Alison Ohta, Director, Royal Asiatic Society, to Lawrence Graham to thank for his letter informing of the legacy and to confirm that the Society is able to accept the legacy for the purpose stated. Typed, 1 piece, dated 10 April 2012.
