Draft letter from Brian Houghton Hodgson to Sir Rutherford Alcock in which he replies to the letter concerning his volume of Papers (BHH/5/25/3). He hopes that Alcock will have returned to town in time for the deputation to the Duke. He will collect the volume and take it to Sir Louis Mallet who also wishes to see them. Hodgson is pleased that Alcock will be highlighting the topic in Bradford in the autumn. Handwritten, 4 sides, dated December 1873.
