Business included the appointment of a new Chairman following the death of Professor Nicholson; to confirm and discuss the appointment of new Trustees; the financial position with Report to follow (see GMT/1/2/18); and publications.

Letter from W.L. Raynes, Clerk to the Trust, to C.A. Storey to ask him to consider the request of the Chairman that Dr A.J. Arberry be elected as an additional trustee due to the absence of Dr Levy from the Country and following the death of Sir Denison Ross. (See also GMT/3/2/2). He also asks for Storey to agree to the cost of printing and binding of Professor's Minorsky's "Safavid Administration".
