Letter from W.L. Raynes, Clerk to the Trust, to C.A. Storey to inform Storey that Dr Levy will edit a translation and notes of Ma'ālim al-Qurba fi Akhām al-Hisba by Ibn al-Ikhwa, a manuscript of which is in the Bodleian Library. Mr Levy has asked that the Trust pay the cost for rotographs needed to undertake this work and Raynes asks if Storey agrees to this expenditure. On the reverse of the letter are some mathematical calculations.

Letter from W.L. Raynes, Clerk to the Trust, to C.A. Storey to inform Storey that he had been sent a copy of the thesis "The Development of Historical Writing among the Moslems in Spain" by Mr S. Goldman of New College, Oxford, with a view to its publication in the Gibb Memorial Series. The Chairman has suggested that Storey may be willing to examine it and report at the next annual trustees meeting in May. Raynes asks if Storey would like to look through the thesis before replying.

Letter from E.G. Raynes, Clerk to the Trust, to C.A. Storey to provide a memorandum concerning Vladimir Minorsky's request for to cover the further costs of photography of Persian manuscript, British Museum, Or. 9496. The memorandum from R.A. Nicholson is with the letter.

Letter from W.L. Raynes, Clerk to the Trust, to C.A. Storey to inform him that the final portion of the stock at Dow & Lester had been delivered to the Press. He has written to Mr Lewis to enquire regarding re-sorting and indexing the stock and will inform Storey once he has had a reply.

Letter from C.A. Storey to W.L. Raynes to inform Raynes of his visit to Cox & Allen's premises where he saw the brasses on their plates. He writes that they do not all seem to be present. He then went with the senior Binder to the stock in Mill Lane and found various of the volumes that were needed.

Letter from W.L. Raynes, Clerk to the Trust, to C.A. Storey to inform Storey that he has received copies of Ibn Miskawayh History and History of the Resuli Dynasty of Yemen. He asks Storey to call in order to inspect the volumes.

Letter from W. Heffer & Sons Ltd. to C.A. Storey to forward two slip proofs of Chapters 1-5 and the conclusion of "Safavid Administration" by Professor Minorsky. It is hoped that this section could be typeset within two weeks. To the letter Storey has added the note "Minorsky tells me that he received the proofs on 28.2.42".

Letter from W.L. Raynes, Clerk to the Trust, to C.A. Storey to enclose a copy of a letter received from Dow & Lester from which it appears they still have some stock and brasses. With this letter is a copy of the letter from Dow & Lester Ltd. to Messrs Gibb Memorial Trust to state they have still some odd parcels to send but were keeping them in case others were found. They also have a number of blocks but cannot identify which are theirs and which are Luzac's property. They will send [pulls] of the blocks to Luzac for them to identify and will then return those belonging to the Gibb Memorial Trust.
