He also asks whether Graham would expand them to produce a paperback. Under this letter is a note from [Debra] to say that this will be a beautiful book and that she will ask Dawn to call on John Minford in Hong Kong.

              Letter from John Cayley, Wellsweep Press, to Angus Graham to state that the book is well-advanced. He encloses two signed copies of the contract which if Graham is satisfied with, then he should sign one and return it. One signed and witnessed copy of the Memorandum of Agreement is with the letter for 12 April 1990.

              Letter from James Kraft, Witter Bynner Foundation, to Angus Graham to explain that after much deliberation it has been decided not to use Graham's essay as an introduction to Bynner's Laotzu as they felt Graham's essay was not in sympathy with the translation. They however send recompense for his work and travels.

              Letter from David R. Knechtges to Angus Graham concerning the Ho-kuan tzu and the need for Knechtges to update his entry about it. With the letter is a copy of the pages written by Knechtges in Michael Loewe's Early Chinese Texts and a further draft traslation of the Huan liu chapter of the Ho-kuan-tzu, possibly by Graham.
