Letter from A.F. Rudolf Hoernle to Edward William West to thank him for sending a manuscript and to inform West that Hoernle has sent manuscripts to West. He continues to answer West's inquiries and asks for West's help in identification. Handwritten with accompanying envelope, dated 20 July 1899. There is also a copy of a letter from Hoernle pertaining to the forgery of a certain manuscript. Handwritten with further annotations, dated 23 July 1901. With these letters are handwritten notes enclosed with a cover entitled "Khotan MS. papers". Identified as West 57C in de Menasce handlist.
Hoernle A. F. Rudolf 1841-1918Letter from Tehmuras Dinshaji Anklesaria to Edward William West in which Tehmuras addresses some questions and thoughts he has about the collation of a copy of the Bundehesh he encountered in Persia. With the letter are several transcriptions:
- "Backside of the leaf 178 of the MS. Of Dastur Jamasjee Lines 16 - 21,"in which is inserted "Kolophon on DS. fol. 354 (N.2 on accompanying paper)"

Fourteen items of correspondence from Darab Dastur Peshotan Sanjana to Edward William West. The topic of these letters are the translation of a Denkart, K43, and other questions about translation. The two exchange some of their texts during this period and Sanjana thanks West for helping with the collation of the discrepanies in Sanjana's late father's manuscript. Identified as part of West 57A in de Menasce handlist.

West Edward William 1824-1905Description: Large white ruled notebook, no covers, handwritten in ink and blue and red colour pencils. Identified as West 45 in de Menasce handlist.
Contents: "Copy of the latter portion of the First Selections of Zad-sparam, Chapter XII - XXV, originally written at the end of the 9th Century. From Tehmuras's MS. G. which was written by Gopatashah Rustom Bandar in Kirman A.D. 1545 and is called T.K. in S.B.E. vol. XVIII, pp. xvi-xvii. Collated in blue pencil with BK,., a MS said to be in Dastur Jamaspji's Library in Bombay, mostly writen in Kirman and copied from K.35 which was written two generations later than G. in 1592" The copy was sent to West by T.D. Anklesaria in October 1896.
