Letter from Lord Auckland to Brian Houghton Hodgson with acknowledgement and thanks for letters and objects of curiosity sent by Hodgson from Nepal after Auckland had left Calcutta, and authorising Hodgson to purchase objects of interest such as silver images of gods used by the people of Lhasa in their occasional visits to Assam.
