Letter from Jules Mohl to Brian Houghton Hodgson concerning acknowledgement of Hodgson's letter sent from Darjeeling containing the wording for the dedication of Burnouf's book to Hodgson, sent earlier by Burnouf; publication of Burnouf's book on Buddhist literature; request for instructions on how to send to Hodgson a gift copy of Burnouf's book and a copy of Hodgson's own writings on Buddhism which had been borrowed by Burnouf; promise to send them with Richardson; Bunsen's willingness to see Hodgson; hope that they might meet in Paris if he planned to travel back to India via France.
