Letter from Archibald Campbell to Brian Houghton Hodgson in which he writes that he has told Mallet about Weight's pamphlet and his impression that Gridlestone knew nothing about it. He writes more on his opinion of the situation and then switches to say he cannot remember who told him about Smith's trial and that Mrs Hooker has asked him to take charge of bringing Harriet to the Hodgson's which may delay their arrival. Handwritten, 2 pieces, 3 sides with accompanying envelope annotated by Hodgson. Dated 16 July 1873.
