Letter from Albrecht Weber to Brian Houghton Hodgson in which he concurs with Hodgson distress at seeing his collection in a corner of the library in Calcutta. He writes that the material he presented to the Institut de France in memory of Eugène Burnouf will be visited by the Russian expert, Dr Anton Schiefner. He relates that Professor Schott has not received a copy of Hodgson's work on Turanian languages. Handwritten, 3 sides, dated 24 April 1860.
