In 1980, it was decided that there was no suitable candidate to receive the Gold Medal. This is recorded in the material in this series.

Three Special General Meetings were held in 1979 and a further Meeting in 1980. The meetings on 9 January and 8 February 1979 concerned the granting of leases for the parts of the property. The meeting of the 8 November 1979 concerned increasing the subscription rates for Fellows.
