Letter from Bertram S. Thomas to Colonel Hoysted, Secretary of Royal Asiatic Society, in which Thomas accepts the invitation to deliver the Burton Memorial Lecture and to receive the medal. On the reverse is a note in Hoysted's hand to state that the lecture was postponed to 18th June as the first Thursday that Thomas was free and that the medal had been ordered.
