Letter from John Pinches to the Secretary of the Royal Asiatic Society confirming prices for the casting of the first Burton Memorial Medal.

Two casts for the Burton Memorial Medal. One side has the head of Burton and the inscription "SIR RICHARD BURTON. KCMG. 1821-1890" and the other side has a laurel wreath and the inscriptions "RICHARD BURTON MEMORIAL MEDAL" and "PRESENTED TO" with space for the recipients name. One is a complete medal, the other is in two halves each with one side plain and the other in the form of the medal.
