Letter from Mary Fairs, great niece of D.S. Margoliouth, to the Royal Asaitic Society, to inform the Society that her great-uncle's Gold Medal had been donated by her to New College, Oxford, where it would be held in their Treasury. Handwritten letter, dated 24 June [1980].

Letter from Edward S.M. Perowne, Solicitor, to Colonel Hoysted, Secretary of Royal Asiatic Society, in which he writes about the fire insurance and the Library grant before writing to agree that the Medal should be of the same standard of gold as previously, despite the increased cost. He finishes by writing about the British Italian League who will cease their let of the Society's premises in June of that year. Typed, dated 26 February 1932.
