"Inventory of Curiosities presented by Capt. Dillon to the Royal Asiatic Society". Handwritten list of 29 items (1-27 but two entries at 6 and 8) donated to the Society by Captain Peter Dillon, dated 2nd January 1829.

"The Singhalese Book is called Pansiyapanas Jatakaya" Explanation accompanying a donation of the book. The letter gives a comprehensive account of the book and its production and is signed as by written Benjamin Clough (1791-1853), Wesleyan Missionary in Sri Lanka, and dated 25 March, 1824. A further label reads "Sir A Johnston, Jan 7 1826".

Letter from Major-General Samuel Williams Ogg to Dr George Henry Noehden, Secretary of the RAS, presenting a "specimen of a new mineral found in the Mysore Country near Belloor". A further note states "Major Genl Ogg Feb 5 1825 with an Emerald Avanturin" (avanturine). Handwritten, 1 piece, 4 sides, dated 5th February, 1825.
