Chatterjee, Military Secretary to the President of India, to Sir Richard Winstedt, President, Royal Asiatic Society, to inform the Society that the President graciously consents to be a Vice-Patron of the Society, dated 5 May 1952. With the letter is a a certificate stating Dr Rajendra Prasad, President of the Republic of India, is pleased to be Vice-Patron of the Royal Asiatic Society.
