• Admittance ticket for a lecture by Professor Albert von le Coq, 'Journey and Results of the 4th Turfan Expedition', 18 October 1927.
• Admittance ticket for a lecture by Sir E. Denison Ross, 'The Contribution of Hungary to Central Asian Studies with special reference to Csoma de Koros', 12 June 1928.
• Admittance ticket for a lecture by Sir Aurel Stein, 'A Journey of Archaeological Expedition in South-Western Iran (1933-6)', 11 November 1937.
• Typescript of the lecture given by Professor Kochi Doi on Japanese Myth. The lecture was given on 9 December 1937. The typescript is annotated with a note from Doi to Colonel Hoysted, dated 28 January 1938. With the typescript is an admittance ticket for the lecture and a letter from Harold Powlett to Colonel Hoysted to return the typescript, dated 5 February 1938.

• Letter from Lord Zetland to Sir Richard Winstedt concerning the progress into the investigation for a Centre of Oriental Culture. One piece, typed, dated 6 April 1944.
• 'Inter-departmental Commission of Inquiry into Existing Facilities for Oriental, Slavonic, East European and African Studies' undertaken for the Foreign Office by Sir Richard Winstedt and Sir Atul Chatterjee of the Royal Asiatic Society. Twenty pieces, typed, dated 5 April 1945.
• Letter from Harbans Singh, The High Commission of India, to the Royal Asiatic Society concerning the setting up of a library in India after the name of General Sir William H. Sleeman. With the letter is a photocopy of books and periodicals required. Typed, 5 pieces, dated 14 May 1964.

Gadd, Honorary Secretary, Archaeological Joint Committee, to the Secretary, Royal Asiatic Society, to send a copy of a letter which has been sent to the Colonial Office, and to ask for its consideration at the next meeting of the Society's Council. Typed, dated 8 April 1832. With this letter is a copy of the letter sent by the Archaeological Joint Committee to the Colonial Office to ask for formal recognition of the Committee. Typed, dated April 1932.

Letter from Col. Hoysted, Secretary, Royal Asiatic Society, to the Honorary Secretary, Archaeological Joint Committee, to state that the letter received would be brought before the Council at its next meeting. Typed, dated 13 April 1932.

Letter from Col. Hoysted, Secretary, Royal Asiatic Society, to the Honorary Secretary, Archaeological Joint Committee, to state that the Council approve of all the suggestions made in the letter of the Archaeological Joint Committee to the Colonial Office. Typed with printed letterhead, dated 20 April 1932.

Correspondence between the Association of British Orientalists and the Royal Asiatic Society concerning the standing of members of the Royal Asiatic Society within the Association of British Orientalists. These are:

• Notice from Richard Hill, Association of British Orientalists, to announce the twelfth Conference of the British Orientalists to be held under the joint auspices of the Association and the Royal Asiatic Society at the University of Durham, 3-6 September 1962. Dated 1 March 1962.
• Draft letter from the Royal Asiatic Society concerning the illogical position that members of the Royal Asiatic Society will be expected to pay a membership fee for the Association of British Orientalists in order to attend the Conference though the Royal Asiatic Society is sponsoring the event, dated 8 October 1962.
• Letter from Richard Hill, Association of British Orientalists, to Richard Winstedt, Royal Asiatic Society, to state that he no longer holds office in the Association and so has passed Winstedt's letter to the Secretary, Mr T.F. Mitchell. Dated 10 October 1962.
• Letter from T.F. Mitchell to Richard Winstedt to clarify the position concerning the Royal Asiatic Society members attendance at the Conference, dated 1 November 1962.

Letter from Richard Winstedt to A.J. Arberry to state that he had read the essays and added his pencilled comments. Handwritten, 1 side, dated 16 October 1939.
