Letter from William Daniell to the Royal Asiatic Society to accompany a drawing of Ceylon which he had copied from an original of his brother's, Samuel Daniell (1775-1811). Letter dated January 20th, 1833. Handwritten, 1 piece, 2 sides. William and his uncle, Thomas Daniell, were commissioned to create the designs for the Society's seals, signet and medal.
