Letter from W.E.D. Allen to V. Minorsky in which Allen informs Minorsky of his nervous breakdown and his wife's ill health and their respective recoveries. Allen also sends his delight on the Royal Asiatic Society's marking of Minorsky's 85th birthday (Minorsky was awarded the Society's Triennial Gold Medal in 1962, notification of which arrived on his 85th birthday).
