Bate produced a series of articles under the heading of India as a Field of Missions which were published in 1899. These papers contain handwritten manuscripts for the articles "The Story of Shri Bishwas Dhar", "The Story of Kapil Babu" and "the Story of Manorama", a proof copy of No.5 and the series of articles taken out of their original magazines.
There is also a newspaper clipping from "Freeman, 1881" giving details of man's conversion to Christianity from a Hindu family. There is also a typed version of the story of Kopil Babu.
