Matters discussed included the financial interactions of the Trust; the possible publication of Mathnawi Vol. VII, Kashfu'l-Mahjub, Tabaqat Ush-Shu-ara, Life of Tamerlaine. Also reports on stock levels of current publications and requests for supply of publications; and the Clerk's salary.

• Letter from E.G. Raynes, Clerk to the Trust, to C.A. Storey to thank for the completed Form for Discharge to the Stock Conversion and Investment Trust Ltd, 11 January 1949.
• Letter from E.G. Raynes, Clerk to the Trust, to C.A. Storey to enclose forms for discharge of stock with the Central Uruguay Railway Co., 14 March 1949.

Letter from W.L. Raynes, Clerk to the Trust, to C.A. Storey to enclose a cheque for the half year salary and disbursements which he asks Storey to sign. He informs that his Brokers have purchased some Guardian Investment Trust Debenture Stock. He also writes that Nicholson seems very frail and therefore asks Storey to sign a cheque for £1000 so Raynes will not have to trouble Nicholson for each separate purchase.

Letter from W.L. Raynes, Clerk to the Trust, to C.A. Storey to ask him to consider the request of the Chairman that Dr A.J. Arberry be elected as an additional trustee due to the absence of Dr Levy from the Country and following the death of Sir Denison Ross. (See also GMT/3/2/2). He also asks for Storey to agree to the cost of printing and binding of Professor's Minorsky's "Safavid Administration".
