Typed Lists and Reviews collected in researching for the Catalogue. These are:

These Papers were all produced in the compiling of the A Catalogue of the Paintings and Drawings in the Royal Asiatic Society, London. which was published by the Royal Asiatic Society in 1991. The material includes a manuscript proof, correspondence connected to the artworks of the Society, correspondence and lists for compiling the index, and notes and articles which Head collected and collated during his research.

Sin títuloLetter from Betty Tyers, Indian Department, V&A Museum, to Raymond Head to inquire whether the list of Royal Asiatic Society loans to the Victoria and Albert Museum for the Society's sesquicentenary exhibition had arrived with Head. She also provides a list of the Society's loans to the British Museum that were also lent to the V&A for the sesquicentenary exhibition in October 1973. With the letter is its accompanying envelope.
Sin títuloLetter from Geoff Salter, Hampshire County Library, to Raymond Head to enclose information regarding the pictures and articles that were in the house of George Staunton, Leigh Park House, Hampshire, in 1836. He asks whether any in the list match those in the Royal Asiatic Society's Collections. A photocopy of the list is with the letter. The list bears some handwritten annotations of items that are or were in the Society's Collections.
Sin títuloLetter from R McDonald, Assistant Keeper, Department of Manuscripts and Records, The National Library of Wales, to Raymond Head to say that his letter addressed to the University College of Wales Library had been passed to them but there is no reference to correspondence of Charles Joseph Doyle or deposit of Sir John Doyle within their indexes. Dated 16 July 1981.
Also a letter from T.J.B. Dawkes, Reader Adviser, University College, Cardiff, to state there is no correspondence belonging to Charles Joseph Doyle at their library but they had sent the letter to the National Museum of Wales. Dated 31 July 1981.
Letter from Elizabeth A Powis, Assistant Librarian, The Royal Institution, to Raymond Head to send information regarding the Egyptian mummy, belonging to the Royal Asiatic Society which was unrolled at the Royal Institute. She enclose a copy of the illustrations from the book "An Address on Embalming Generally, delivered at the Royal Institution on the Unrolling of a Mummy" by John Davidson. These illustrations are with the letter. She writes that she is also enclosing a copy of the Managers' Minutes concerning the lecture. This is not with the letter.
Sin títuloLetter from T D Hobbs, Assistant Librarian, Gonville and Caius College, Cambridge, to Raymond Head to state that the College does not possess any portraits or busts of Thomas Manning. He also believes there are none of Manning's books are in the Library, though because there is no provenance catalogue, it is possible they have some. However there are no diaries.

- Letter from John Irwin to Raymond Head to thank him for sending photographs of the Society's two drawings of 'Asokan' pillars. He gives detailed information as to his belief of their provenance and artist. He is sending an offprint of his paper on The Prayaga bull-pillar for retention by the Library. This is not with the letter. Dated 8 October 1982.
- Letter from John Irwin to Raymond Head to give his opinion on the sketch of the lion-pillar which Head had sent. He writes he has discussed the pillar in a previous article. He also gives news of being offered to apply for a Senior fellowship at the Advanced Center for Study of Visual Arts, Washington, which he has accepted. Dated 3 November 1982
