              The Papers of Horace Geoffrey Quaritch Wales contain papers relating to his archaeological work in southeast Asia including expedition notes, personal notebooks, diaries, manuscript proofs, correspondence, newspaper cuttings and maps. Listed within this catalogue are objects and items of furniture which were also part of the bequest of Quaritch Wales' wife, Dorothy, to the Royal Asiatic Society.

              Letter from Curzon Press to Dorothy C. Wales to inform her that they are searching the second hand market for a copy of 'Siamese State Ceremonies'. In the meantime they will take great care of her copy. He informs her that he considers the estimate to be reasonable and that he would be happy to proceed with a reprint if she would cover the costs of £3000 for 500 copies. Typed, 1 side, dated 11 May 1992.

              Album, hardcover, black, labelled "Extracts & Cuttings Volume II, Bangkok 1927" containing newspaper cuttings, B/W photographs and invitations; includes news of birth and presentation of white elephant. It includes the letter from King Rama VII inviting Quaritch Wales to court dinner dances on 1st January 1924 and 26 February 1926; a letter to ask Quaritch Wales to join the Coronation day on 12 November 1925 and to join the lunch at Ananta Samakhom Throne Hall. Contains also news regarding the white elephant from 14-17 November 1927. Some articles have been cut from the album and some photographs removed.
