              A paper folder containing 17 documents relating to the Kandána Caves near the Bhór Ghât in the Konkan. These include: No.1 A plan of the Kandána Caves, scale 20 feet to an inch, 6 April 1854. No.2: A drawing of the left front of Chaitya Cave (unfinished), scale four feet to an inch, with a paper of measurements. Nos.3-7: Seven of the eight jubilant figures on a frieze, Chaitya Cave, scale 2 inches to a foot. No.8: A rubbing of an emblem on a pillar, Chaitya Cave. No.9-11: Drawings of a Bas-Relief at the right end of a verandah, an interior pillar, and an ornamental doorway, in the cave next to Chaitya, scale 1/2 inch to a foot. No.12: Two rubbings of the head-dress or turban of the large jubilant figures on the front of Chaitya Caves. No.13: A short description extracted from Henry West's diary - the entry for Good Friday, 6 April 1854. No.14: Caves of Kandána - a description written by Henry West, July 1872.
