There is a small amount of printed material relating to Pankhurst's interest in Ethiopia. These are:

  • 'A Catalogue of Secondhand Books Old and Modern offered for sale by Holleyman & Treacher', Brighton, Sussex. Printed pamphlet for June 1953.
  • Journal of Africa Studies Volume 6, Number 1, Spring 1979, in which is the article Mahbuba, the "Beloved": The Life and Romance of an Ethiopian Slave-Girl in Early Nineteenth-Century Europe by Richard Pankhurst.
