              Persian Literature: A Bio-bibliographical Survey Volume II Part 2 was published after Storey's death using material he had created. it was compiled by Ann Walsh with supervision by James Douglas Pearson. The archival material is:

              • Volume entries - handwritten notes created by Storey and edited by Walsh for some of the entries in the Volume.
              • Manuscript lists - handwritten and typed lists of manuscripts to be included in the publication, ordered alphabetically by location, collection or catalogue.
              • Index list - handwritten lists of authors.
              • Proof pages - printed proof copy of the publication with handwritten annotation. With the proofs is a compliment slip from Stephen Austin and Sons Ltd., Foreign and General Printers.

              Material in Persian and Arabic script. These are:

              • A bound notebook with cloth cover containing a series of essays on religion and history. An index can be found at the front of the book
              • A small handmade notebook held together by a simple tie containing texts in Persian.
              • A further small handmade notebook containing texts in Persian
              • Pages from an unknown printed text contain historical material, 18 pages. These are in a fragile condition.
              • The final few pages and the back board of an unknown publication of a history text.
              • Large blue sheet on which is compiled genealogical material, handwritten.
              • Four sides of paper with words taken from gravestones, handwritten.

              Three letters sent from the Qajar court to Sir Gore Ouseley in the course of his diplomatic mission. These are:

              • Letter from Fath-Ali Shah to Sir Gore Ouseley concerned with the allegiance between Persia and England. This is dated to February 1812. The original letter, handwritten in Persian, has been mounted onto another piece of paper. With it is a handwritten translation into English.
              • 'From His Royal Highness' - a letter from [Fath-Ali Shah] to Sir Gore Ouseley to thank him for the gift of a 'elegant crystal candlesticks' and other articles which were 'wholly in keeping with our desire'. This is undated. The original letter, handwritten in Persian, has been mounted onto another piece of paper. With it is a handwritten translation into English.
              • 'A Letter from His Royal Highness Abbas Mirza Prince Royal of Persia to the Rt. Honble. Sir Gore Ouseley Bt.' concerning sending Murza Salih, a scribe of the court, to describe the circumstances at the court. Murza Salih has been chosen as he has previously spent time in England and can therefore talk to Ouseley without the use of an interpreter. Written in March-April 1822. The original letter, handwritten in Persian, has been mounted onto another piece of paper. With it is a handwritten translation into English and a further typed translation.

              Persian Literature: A Bio-bibliographical Survey Volume II was divided into 3 parts. Only the first of these was published within Storey's lifetime. After the Royal Asiatic Society received Storey's bequest it was decided to continue publishing his volumes. They employed Mrs Ann Walsh to undertake the work supervised by James Douglas Pearson (Part 2) and G.M. Meredith -Owens (Part 3). The parts were published:

              The archival material in this series is concerned with the preparation and publication of this volume.

              Persian Literature: A Bio-bibliographical Survey Volume III was also divided in 3 parts. None of these were published in Storey's lifetime. Part 1 was published in 1984; Part 2 was published in 1990; and Part 3 was published digitally with the other parts by Brill in 2021. The parts cover:

              Volume V covers Poetry of the pre-Mongol period and is entitled 'Persian Literature: A Bio-Bibliographical Survey. Begun by the Late C. A. Storey'. It was compiled for the Royal Asiatic Society by François de Blois as an essentially new work, with some use of Storey’s material.

              It was originally published in three fascicles: Part 1 in1992; Part 2 in 1994; and Part 3 in 1997. A second, hardbound edition of the entire volume, substantially revised and corrected, was published in 2004. The work on this volume was financed by the Royal Asiatic Society out of the funds bequeathed to it by Storey on a condition that the typescript of the first fascicle be completed in two years, which necessitated de Blois to compile it using only material available in London.

              A further Volume VI was envisaged to be devoted to Persian poetry from the time of Saʿdi and Rumi onward. This has not been prepared or published.

              The Papers of Charles Ambrose Storey are mainly concerned with gathering material for his research into Persian Literature. They include his own notes and draft publications and additional notes by people who subsequently worked with his research.

              As Storey compiled information for his biobibliographical works, he created an index card system. When these were transferred to the Society's collections they were still within their original filing cabinet drawers. The contents have been transferred to archival quality boxes but the order kept as they were found. The boxes are labelled:
