              • Notice from Richard Hill, Association of British Orientalists, to announce the twelfth Conference of the British Orientalists to be held under the joint auspices of the Association and the Royal Asiatic Society at the University of Durham, 3-6 September 1962. Dated 1 March 1962.
              • Draft letter from the Royal Asiatic Society concerning the illogical position that members of the Royal Asiatic Society will be expected to pay a membership fee for the Association of British Orientalists in order to attend the Conference though the Royal Asiatic Society is sponsoring the event, dated 8 October 1962.
              • Letter from Richard Hill, Association of British Orientalists, to Richard Winstedt, Royal Asiatic Society, to state that he no longer holds office in the Association and so has passed Winstedt's letter to the Secretary, Mr T.F. Mitchell. Dated 10 October 1962.
              • Letter from T.F. Mitchell to Richard Winstedt to clarify the position concerning the Royal Asiatic Society members attendance at the Conference, dated 1 November 1962.

              Letter from Col. Hoysted, Secretary, Royal Asiatic Society, to Dr Bhandarkar to ask, on behalf of the President and Council of the Society, whether Bhandarkar would be willing to represent the Society at the Seventh Indian Conference. Dated 29 May 1933.

              Letter from Dr Bhandarkar to Colonel Hoysted to inform that he would be delighted to represent the Society. Dated 22 June 1933.

              Letter from Col. Hoysted, Secretary, Royal Asiatic Society, to Dr Bhandarkar to express, on behalf of the President and Council, their gratitude that he has agreed to represent the Society. Dated 10 July 1933.

              Letter from Dr Bhandarkar to Colonel Hoysted to inform that his health has suddenly become worse and therefore it will be doubtful if he will be able to attend the Conference. Dated 14 December 1933.

              Letter from Col. Hoysted, Secretary, Royal Asiatic Society, to Dr Bhandarkar to express, on behalf of the President and Council, their concern regarding his health and the hope that he was well enough to attend the conference. Dated 2 January 1934.

              Letter from Dr Bhandarkar to Colonel Hoysted to inform that he did not attend the Conference but as he did not leave Calcutta, his health did not become worse. Dated 25 January 1934.

              • Letter from Émile Senart to Lord Reay, President, Royal Asiatic Society, concerning the possibility of the two societies cooperating. Handwritten in French, dated 19 December 1916.There is also a typed copy of this letter.
              • Notes on the meeting of the Société Asiatique and a commission that will be formed. Handwritten on the reverse of an agenda for the Council meeting of 13 February 1917.
              • Letter from the Council, Royal Asiatic Society, to Lord Reay to state that the Council at its meeting passed the resolution that they had great sympathy with the desire of Émile Senart and suggest the formation of a small committee to take this further. Handwritten, undated.
              • Letter from Émile Senart to thank for the invitation to work towards an agreement between the Societies. Handwritten in French, dated 2 March 1917.
              • Letter from Émile Senart to write concerning the forming of a committee to work with the Royal Asiatic Society. Handwritten in French, dated 9 March 1917.

              • Notification that the Committee of Royal Asiatic Society had met to consider the memorandum from the Société Asiatique. The memorandum is with this note as is a copy of a further letter from Émile Senart enclosing a protocol of terms of agreement. The letter is dated 21 June 1917.
              • Statement concerning the possibilities of cooperation. Typed in French, undated.
              • Letter from Émile Senart to the President, Royal Asiatic Society, to write concerning the cooperation between the Societies and to submit a first draft of a scheme formulating the precise terms of cooperation. Handwritten in French, dated 21 June 1917. With this letter is a handwritten translation in English.
              • Report of the Committee, Royal Asiatic Society regarding the protocol sent by the Société Asiatique. Handwritten, undated.
