In December 2003, the Council decided to consider moving properties. A Property Steering Group was set up to pursue the recommendation for finding new premises. The material in this series consists of a letter sent by Francis Robinson to members of the group in advance of the meeting of the group on 11 January 2005, and the Minutes for the Group's meeting on 10 February 2005.

Plans for the property 56 Queen Anne Street. These are:

• Plans drawn up by G.K. Payne for location of rooms in Queen Anne Street, Scale 1/8" =1'0" 56 Queen Anne Street, September 1974, prepared by Morton-Smith and Company with room plans for basement, ground and first floors and a small location plan. Pro forma letters and administrative lists concerning the Branch Societies. These are:

• Letter from B.W. Robinson, President of Royal Asiatic Society, to inform of the activities that will be happening for the Society's sesquicentenary celebrations, dated 15 March 1973.
• Letter to "Dear Colleague" to give details of events, dated 22 March 1973.
• "Modify Presidents letter as follows for" giving modifications for the different Societies, undated.
• General letter to the Presidents of the Branch Societies with list of Societies to which it should be sent, dated 27 March 1973.
• Administrative lists with titles, "Branch and Associate Societies", "Activities", "Staff", and "Publications", undated.

Printed invitation from the President and Council of the Royal Asiatic Society to the Society's 150th Anniversary Reception and Exhibition. Five copies including one with Dr John Hansman as the invited guest, still in its original envelope.

A Press release written by the Society concerning the Sesquicentenary Dinner, dated 24 October 1973, and a report of the Dinner in the Daily Telegraph for 26 October 1973.

Correspondence regarding the presentation of "Muhammad Juki's Shahnamah of Firdausi" by Dr Barbara Brend, and "India East West: the Age of Discovery in late Georgian India as seen through the Collections of the Royal Asiatic Society, London" by Jochen Sokoly and Dr Alison Ohta. These are:

• Letter from Dr Gordon Johnson, President, Royal Asiatic Society, to the Prince of Wales to present the publications to him as a token of the Society's esteem at the continued patronage of the Society. Typed with printed letterhead, dated 27 July 2011.
• Letter from Jonathan Hellewell, Clarence House, to Dr Gordon Johnson, President, Royal Asiatic Society, to thank him, on the Prince's behalf, for sending the books.Typed with printed letterhead, dated 25 August 2011.
