An exhibition "Richard Johnson (1753-1807), Nabob, Collector and Scholar" was held at the India Office Library, mounted for the Sesquicentenary of the Royal Asiatic Society. The material in connection with this exhibition is:

In celebration of the Royal Asiatic Society's sesquicentenary various exhibitions of its collections were arranged. This series contains material concerned with organising and documenting those exhibitions.

Official Documentation, correspondence and a newspaper cutting concerning the first session of the International Congress of Anthropological and Ethnological Sciences held in London from 30 July to 4 August 1934.

Copies of plans for ground, first, second and third floors of 14 Grafton Street with two further sheets labelled as "proposed alterations" to first, second and third floors.

Correspondence regarding the Princes of Wales' interest in a school teaching Hindi. Two emails to find out the information and a copy of a letter from Adrian Thomas, Royal Asiatic Society, to Nigel Baker, St. James's Palace, to give the information regarding the school, dated 4 December 2002.

The move of the Society from Queen's Gardens necessitated the sale of some furniture and curtains. This material includes correspondence with The Curtain Exchange, Lloyds International Auction Galleries, and Christie's. It also includes a Catalogue for Christie's Auction of Furniture and Decorative Objects held on 11 October 2005, when some of the Society's furniture was in the sale.

• Letter from Robin Allen to Miss Crawford, Secretary, Royal Asiatic Society, to enclose the above letter and to inform that his uncle is out of hospital, dated 16 July 1972.
• Letter from Secretary, Royal Asiatic Society, to Robin Allen to acknowledge receipt of his letter and to express her gladness that his uncle is out of hospital, dated 27 July 1972.
