Kenyon, former President of the British Academy, replying to Richard Winstedt to state that the Academy has no intention of organising a memorial to Sir Aurel Stein, and that the Academy will become the trustees of a fund for archaeology under his will, dated 15 February 1944. The other from Sir E. D. Maclagan to Richard Winstedt, proposing options to commemorate the passing of Sir Aurel Stein, dated 8 March 1944.
