Letters to members encouraging them to sign a seven-year covenant, from which the Society can reclaim income tax on subscriptions. These include one letter from Sir Richard Winstedt, RAS President, datable to 1943-1946, and the other from Mrs M Davis, RAS Secretary, datable to 1947, with an undated Deed of Covenant form and a printed notice on covenanted subscriptions.
