Letter from V. Minorsky to W.E.D. Allen in which Minorsky informs Allen of the death of his colleague, V.S. Nikitine and writes that there is hardly anyone left of his generation or the following one. He has been invited to the Oriental Congress in Moscow and would like to see his fatherland but financial considerations preclude this. He writes of interesting books that have been published for the Congress. Dated: 16 June 1960.
