Letter from George Ramsey, Resident Nepal, to Brian Houghton Hodgson. The purpose of the letter is to send Hodgson an extract from the Register of Pluviameter kept at Kathmandu of the rainfall from 1851-1855 which is on a separate sheet. He also writes that Jung Bahadur is delighted to have settled the dispute. A promising coal has been discovered and Jung Bahadur hopes to get somebody to show him how to work it though the Resident thinks it may be unprofitable.
