The Papers of Horace Geoffrey Quaritch Wales contain papers relating to his archaeological work in southeast Asia including expedition notes, personal notebooks, diaries, manuscript proofs, correspondence, newspaper cuttings and maps. Listed within this catalogue are objects and items of furniture which were also part of the bequest of Quaritch Wales' wife, Dorothy, to the Royal Asiatic Society.

Notebook: black, with notes concerning an oath/allegiance. On the back cover a Thai brochure has been glued: "The brief history of Wat Matchimawas, Songkha province southern Thailand". This was printed 29 August 1973.

Notebook: bound in ruby red and gold, handwritten, containing notes on various books, e.g. "JPB de Josselyn de Jong, Studies in Indonesian Culture I", concerned with Asian history and culture.

Notebook: ruled, bound in red, hardback, dated 1965, containing notes on the Indianization of China and South-East Asia.

Notebook: hardback, bound in red & black, ruled, with some entries dated in 1931. It contains notes on books such as "Siam : some general remarks on its productions, and particularly on its imports and exports, and the mode of transacting business with the people" by D.E. Malloch., "Siam, the land of the white elephant, as it was and is" by George B. Bacon, and on Indian history.

Notebook: hardback, bound in red & black, ruled, used as an exercise-book for his Hindi writing and compiling lists of words.
