Letter from Captain James Purefoy to Robert Turbett. Purefoy is en route to London from Ireland and thanks his brother-in-law for his hospitality whilst in Ireland. He writes concerning his voyage when they were run aground and also of impressive American ships in Liverpool Dock. Dated Liverpool, 24th May 1822, handwritten, 1 item, 2 sides.
