1902
In 1902 the Royal Asiatic Society hosted a reception and dinner, at the Whitehall Rooms, for the Indian Princes who had come to London for the coronation of Edward VII.

1905

• Menu Card for the Dinner of the Heads of Departments of the London County Council, Torcadero Restaurant, Piccadilly Circus, 5 May 1905. It is uncertain whether the Royal Asiatic Society was represented at this dinner. The card is of interest because its owner added the list of wines that were served for each course.

1919-1920
In 1920 the Royal Asiatic Society moved premises from 22 Albemarle Street to 74 Grosvenor Street. There are two cards for associated events:

• Notice of the final meeting at Albemarle Street with the presentation to Mr Henry Cousins of the Pinhay Memorial Medal, and the presentation of the Public School Gold Medal and Prizes, 11 November 1919, printed card.
• Invitation from the President and Council of the Royal Asiatic Society to a Reception on the opening of the Society's new premises, 30 March 1920, printed card.

The series consists of a newspaper cutting reporting on the conferment of the Gold Medal upon Dr E.W. West.

The 11th International Oriental Congress was held in Paris in 1897. The papers consist of a printed pamphlet entiteld "The Eleventh International Oriental Congress" By Robert Needham Cust, LL.D.. It is a report of the congress extracted from "Linguistic and Oriental Essays" Series V, pp.993-1012, and was printed by Stephen Austin and Sons, Hertford in 1897.

The 9th International Congress of Orientalists was held in London in 1892. This material includes minute books, correspondence and printed material concerning the conference.

The 8th International Congress of Orientalists was held in Stockholm and Christiania in 1889. Material from this conference is:

• "Menu du Diner Offert au VIII Congrès International des Orientalistes, Stockholm Le 7 Sept 1889" - Colour, printed pamphlet with a dinner menu in French, followed by poems in multiple languages and translations in either English, French or German, each dedicated to one of the courses.
• Silver and enamelled drinking horn presented by the King of Sweden to the Congress. Within original presentation case.
• Note describing the drinking horn and quoting an extract from the Journal of the Royal Asiatic Society 1902, when it was recorded that the horn should be kept at the Society.
• Two copies of the pamphlet "Quousque Tandem? Der Achte Internationale Orientalisten-Congress: Und Der Neunte? Eine Zusammenstellung von Albr. Weber" - Printed in Berlin, 1891.

There are only three letters in this series. Researchers are advised also examine the Journals of the Society and the Minute Books for Council and General Meetings for further information.

The Register, 4 lists and 11 letters relating to the Acquisitions of the Society in the period 1831-June 1843.

There is little material relating to the early Anniversary General Meetings. The items within the archive are:

• 'Proceedings of the Royal Asiatic Society of Great Britain and Ireland: Anniversary Meetings and Annual Reports of the Council, 1838 and 1839' - a printed pamphlet created by Harrison and Co., St. Martin's Lane, London.
• Royal Asiatic Society of Great Britain and Ireland: Anniversary Meeting and Twenty-Second Annual Report of the Council, 1845, also printed by Harrison and Co.
• 'The Royal Asiatic Society: A Year of Progress': an article from the Times of India, 1 June 1903, reporting on the Prince of Wales' attendance at the Society's Anniversary General Meeting and the happenings on the occasion.
• 'Hotel Cecil Ltd., Suggested Menu for 50 Couverts', dated 6 March 1907 - probably an estimate for a dinner after the Anniversary General Meeting. Typed with printed letterhead
• Notification of the Anniversary Dinner from C. Hughes, Secretary, Royal Asiatic Society, to be held at the Hotel Cecil on 8 June, 1911. Printed paper.
