Sin títuloCopy of a letter to the Editor of the Delhi Gazette. Copy of a letter from "A Morfussillite" concerning his scorn for the use of vernacular education. Copy is in Hodgson's hand and he has added his opinion that, "This writer is evidently as bitter an opponent of the living as of the dead languages of the people..." Handwritten, 2 pieces, 6 sides, dated 12 January 1848.

Notebook containing handwritten copies and newspaper cuttings of testimonials concerning Hodgson's work ranging from 1849-1863. Notebook with marbled cover, handwritten and printed material. Also 2 further inserts with notes, dated 1849-1868.
Sin título"List of Buddha Books & drawings, & of Statistics of Nepaul left in Residency in five Boxes, by B.H.Hodgson, Dec 1st 1837." Each box is individually listed and a sixth package also listed. Further notes are added and there is an additional heading which states that the boxes were repackaged in 1844 to take home. There is a note that all his literary and scientific stores are to go, in case of his death, to his father who will dispose of them to the advantage of Hodgson's reputation. Handwritten, 1 piece, 4 sides, 1837-1844.

Further 4 copies of a list of "Distribution of B.H.H's. Zoological Productions." Also a rough note of zoological specimens. Handwritten, 6 pieces, 7 sides, dated 1845.

Sin título"List of MSS presented to the India Office." List of manuscripts. The list seems to have initially been a store list for Hodgson compiled in 1858 but became the list of MSS given to the India Office in 1864. Along with the list is a copy of the letter from Hodgson to the Right Honorable Sir C Wood, Secretary of State for India, in which Hodgson writes concerning the acceptance of his donation for the India Office Library and lists the articles to be given. Both handwritten, list, 2 pieces, 4 sides; Letter, 4 pieces, 13 sides, dated 1858-1864.

List on Indian paper written in [Nepali] of items left by Hodgson at his home, Brianstone, Darjeeling, in January 1858, with title in English and each page initialed by Hodgson. Handwritten on 3 large pieces of paper, dated January 1858.

Presented to the Medical Society of Calcutta on the 3rd November 1832 and Printed in the 6th Vol. of Transactions" Soft cover offprint with inscription on front cover in which Hodgson has written "NB. All the general matter of the paper - i.e. all but the medical portion was supplied by me to Dr. B". Within the pages are two loose newspaper cuttings; one on exchange rates and the other on information requested by the Revenue and Customs Officers of the Western provinces. Printed material with handwritten notes on front cover, 84 pages, dated 1832.
