Ink and pencil drawings of three examples of niches and their designs from Cave No. 45 and 56, including a brief annotation. The niche from Cave No. 45 includes an image of Buddha in Bhumisparsha Mudra. Scale is half an inch to a foot.
West Henry d 1858 EngineerThe Denis Sinor Medal was awarded to Nicholas Sims-Williams in 2015. The administrative material is still held in current records. However there are five digital photographs of Sims-Williams giving his lecture at the Society's premises in Stephenson Way, and of the presentation of the Medal to him by Dr Gordon Johnson, President, Royal Asiatic Society. This event took place on 13 May 2016.
