Further correspondence concerned with Phelps' and others research into Buddhist relics.

Six further items of correspondence:

• Estimate from Richard Madley Ltd. to Royal Asiatic Society for the cost of providing 200 copies of a booklet, dated 5 July 1973.
• Letter from Secretary, Royal Asiatic Society, to Richard Madley Ltd. to accept the estimate, dated 6 July 1973.
• Letter from Sir Harold Bailey to Secretary, Royal Asiatic Society, to ask if he may see a photograph taken at the Symposium, dated 1 August 1973.
• Copy of a letter from Robin Allen, nephew of W.E.D. Allen, to Counsellor Filatov, Embassy of the USSR, concerning the invitation of Professors Daniyalov, Abayev, and Tsereteli to the Sesquicentenary celebration of the Royal Asiatic Society, dated 11th July 1972.
• Letter from Robin Allen to Miss Crawford, Secretary, Royal Asiatic Society, to enclose the above letter and to inform that his uncle is out of hospital, dated 16 July 1972.
• Letter from Secretary, Royal Asiatic Society, to Robin Allen to acknowledge receipt of his letter and to express her gladness that his uncle is out of hospital, dated 27 July 1972.

Further copy of the extract from the Proceedings of the Asiatic Society of Bengal. Also extract from Madras Journal of Science for July-Sept 1839 concerning Hodgson's work and prospective publication on the Fauna of Nepal. Further extract of "Report on Bhootan by the recent Envoy to the Court" undertaken by Hodgson, dated 1839, and extract from "Swainson's Ornithology and Cabinet Cyclopaedia" and "British and Foreign review" concerning Hodgson's publication. Handwritten, 4 sides, dated 1839.

Further comments by David Hall and a letter from David Hall to Angus Graham to thank Graham for sending proposed revisions for an article and to further discuss the points raised by Graham. Graham has annotated some Chinese script on the reverse of one piece.

The move of the Society from Queen's Gardens necessitated the sale of some furniture and curtains. This material includes correspondence with The Curtain Exchange, Lloyds International Auction Galleries, and Christie's. It also includes a Catalogue for Christie's Auction of Furniture and Decorative Objects held on 11 October 2005, when some of the Society's furniture was in the sale.

As part of the Quaritch Wales bequest several items of furniture were donated for use of the Royal Asiatic Society. Originally there were 6 items of furniture with the addition of a small Thai manuscript chest (see lists in QW/14/5). Of these three items have subsequently been sold when the Society moved premises. The remaining ones are listed within this series.

Between 2006 and 2011, a Fundraising Group or Committee was in place to raise funds for the Society. The material in this series consists of:

• Minutes for Meeting of the Fundraising Group or Committee between 18 September 2006 and 9 June 2011.
• Fundraising brochures: a colour brochure entitled 'Royal Asiatic Society of Great Britain and Ireland' with accompanying leaflet 'How can you contribute to the Future of the Royal Asiatic Society', 2 copies of each.
• Printed card listing Members of Council 2008-2009, Members of the Fund Raising Committee and Members of Staff.
