Part of Papers of Barbara Ingham

Copy of a letter from Barbara Ingham to Mr Deotale apologising for the three months Mr Deotale will have to wait to receive a parcel of Flash soap that has been sent to him. She explains that this is due, in part, to a double-hip operation that Barbara Ingham had to undertake unexpectedly. She asks Mr Deotale if he can do anything with regard to Ajanta, explaining how conditions in the Ajanta caves are not suitable with various heat and light issues damaging the newly and half uncovered frescoes on the walls. She implores Mr Deotale to help if he can with making the Ajanta caves a viable and working tourist location.

Part of Papers of Barbara Ingham

Copy of a letter from Barbara Ingham to Mr Baukhandi in which she writes, "I am sending one photograph of Kunri or Kunti mata from Onkareswara." She enquires after the state of the Ajanta caves and suggests using his restoration of one of cave paintings as a postcard in order to publicise the caves. She is worried that her photos of the frescos are not good due to a deficient flash which has been replaced. She aske if he would like to paint from the slides that she has taken of the frescos and gives information on the history of Narasmha.
