Letter from W.E.D. Allen to Terence Armstrong in which Allen informs Armstrong that he is attempting to secure illustrations and maps for publication. He also writes of his business problems and that he will not be able to tackle the literary work required by Armstrong before mid-February. He also asks that the three Hakluyt volumes of Ibn Batuta be sent to a Turkish friend and charged to Allen's account. Dated: 22 January 1968.

Letter from W.E.D. Allen to Terence Armstrong in which Allen updates Armstrong on the latest date for publishing 'Embassies' to take place in October that year. Allen also tells Armstrong of his meeting Australian millionaire Sir John Galvin who has a keen interest in North East Pacific, publishing books he finds of note through a publishing house he owns in California. Allen suggests that should Armstrong have material to be published that he approach Galvin. Dated: 23 June 1970.

He also writes concerning throwing a supper party at the Ritz for the Georgian State Ballet. Dated: 26 June 1967.
