He promises to send a note about Sheila-na-gig, but expresses hesitation about meeting a Russian called Yevtushenko, since he fears his spoken Russian is no longer good enough. He hopes Allen and Roger Machell can dine with him at some point. Attached to the letter are notes on the meaning of the word 'incony', used in 'Love's Labour's Lost', 'gubbins', and 'Mangyt'. He asks if Allen is interested in buying a dictionary by Dahl from the Russian wife of a British diplomat, recently returned from Moscow. Dated: 29 February 1968.
