Letter from Professor Richard Owen to Brian Houghton Hodgson to say that Hodgson's letter had arrived whilst Owen was inspecting specimens at the direction of the trustees of the British Museum. He is inspecting crania and has noted some of the characteristics. He will return to their study on his return from Leeds. He writes of his esteem for Hodgson's labours.
